This is how the word is defined in the English dictionary....and it is one of the things that I hate the most in this world.
I so rather know the truth and know the true you even if I don't like it than to get the fake version!
Don't get me wrong we are all a little guilty of the "fake" at some points in our lives, but it is those who represent themselves as one thing and then you find out they are the complete opposite...those are the people I'm talking about. I don't appreciate people who pretend to be cool with me, and then dog me any chance they get, I don't appreciate people who pretend to know me and my life and make it their mission to discuss it with others, I don't like when you don't even know my birthday but share with people something about my sex life....
Maybe the word I was looking for was pretend.. who knows.
Either way, I understand we were not all placed on this earth to be friends or for that matter to even like each other, BUT I am a firm believer that we should all ALWAYS respect and be civil to each other.
Please the next time you see me don't smile and give me a hug and ask me how I'm doing because my response will be stop being so fake!!!!
